It’s simple…not easy (at least not at first)

No added sugar Whole fat Greek yogurt, berries, chopped nuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon. YUM!!

Today in my Spanish class while the students were working on projects they were chatting about how many of their family members are on weight loss medication. That brought up some more conversation about diabetes, dieting, and obesity.

The more I hear these types of conversations the more I realize that the message so many people are yearning to hear, is the one that I am hoping to share with folks.

A whole food cook-up lifestyle that feeds your body, mind, and spirit is sustainable, nutritious, budget friendly, and delicious. It is not easy at first - but eventually it is EASY and SIMPLE. It just takes time to develop some habits that will stick.

When I first realized that I had developed a sustainable way of cooking and eating, it was a giant light bulb. I had always been so emotionally attached to the high carb/ processed food I ate. Now I have emotionally re-attached to (healthy whole) food. The de-taching from processed food and re-attaching process happens over time. When you can eat food that is feeding your body what it needs it will begin to reward you with feeling GOOD. That good feeling is hard to beat.

These changes happen with your intention setting and some authentically delicious options that you really love. (See the Swap list from April 1, 2025)

Remember to crowd your plate with foods that grew out of the earth, meats that are grass-fed, free-range, wild caught, hormone free protein sources, and organic as possible and affordable. When you fill your plate with this kind of goodness you will feel full and satisfied.

I have a summer cook-up series starting in June for 6 people a night on location if you would like to have some fun discovering how this process works. Or join us online for the streaming version.

Don’t let more time pass you by - if you have been yearning to free yourself from the binds of emotional eating- give me a call. I would love to help you on this journey.

Lots of love,

Linda
