What is a Health History?
Your journey begins with a 1 hour free health history where we sit down together and walk through what brought you to this moment. It’s about taking an honest look at where you are, accepting the present with gratitude and then opening to new possibilities. This process is one of self- acceptance, self-awareness and self-transformation.

Why do I need a Health Coach? What does a Health Coach do? Have you ever gone to the doctor and been given directives to lose weight, get your blood pressure down, or control your sugar intake? Do you ever feel overwhelmed by life and want to make lasting changes in your lifestyle but don't know how to get there? As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach it is my job to help you get there. Through bi-weekly meetings (12 total) you will begin to shift gradually to the lifestyle and habits you most desire.
Your 1 hour appointment for all 12 sessions is scheduled during the first week (preferably for the same block of time each meeting). The 2-week gap gives you a chance to implement new habits and ideas bit by bit.
The Whole Food Cook-up Coaching Intro and Reset (online)
Your Whole food Cook-up Coaching Intro or Reset (if you just need a reboot!) begins with a peek into your pantry/refrigerator/freezer. We will take a look together at what is working for you and what isn’t working so well. This will include learning to read labels and gaining understanding around what exactly is in the food you are buying and eating. The next step is a grocery store tour where we will explore the whole foods and pantry items that you will want to get connected to in order to set you up for success!
Next we will set up 5 (2 for the Reset plan) private online cook-up lessons. You will walk through 5 cook-ups, the first 3 will help you build your intentionality and mindset. By the last 2, you will put it all together and practice everything you learned. I can’t wait to help you on your Happy Healthy Cook-up journey to emotional eating freedom and whole-hearted living!
Why Cook-up Coaching?

I tell myself, ‘I’m just going to get a small fries at McDonald’s or a little chocolate Frosty as a treat for my stressful day’. Inevitably, I get more than I mean to, and feel so full and awful by the time I get home. My confidence is taking a real hit because I feel helpless to change the grip it has on me. I have put on extra weight and I know that I need to plan better and eat healthy meals but by the end of a busy work week, it is the last thing I want to do. Even if I manage to will myself past the fast food, by the time I get home I am exhausted and frustrated and still have to cook dinner. Instead I order take-out delivery and have a couple glasses of wine to unwind. I feel completely unequal to the grip of the stress and emotional eating has on me. The worst part is, I feel embarrassed and helpless to change it.”

Until I was diagnosed with Lymphoma and HAD to get off the crazy train, I was just plowing through my days, weeks and months. There were a lot of signs along the way that I was stress eating, and burying my emotions in other unhealthy ways. A cancer diagnosis definitely got my attention. I realized that I had been pummeling down an unhealthy path of negative eating patterns instead of finding positive ways to deal with it all. I am so grateful that I am getting a second chance to live a healthier life. It is now my mission to help others on their path toward healing and whole-hearted living.
